Whew, its been four years

Hi guys, Just shaking off some dust and uploading some of the better pieces of the last few years. I finally took the plunge and changed my username so it doesnt give me dysphoria anymore. I've been transitioning these last few years, I go by They/Him now :)

Happy New Year

It's been ten years since I touched this journal, a lot has happened to me in that time. I'm going to be uploading a few of the better pieces I've made over the past few years and breath a little life into the gallery.


I'm doing okay, for a while there it got hard to draw because my hands were hurting me constantly, but I've managed to figure out how much art I can handle at a given time and ramped back up to making .. well not as much art as before, but an amount.


I make soap now, I got into it a few years ago, and its a fun hobby, I may post a few pictures of the more artistic soaps now and again.


We'll see where this new year takes us, huh?

Merry Christmas, News And Updates

So I've been really quiet recently: But its because of good news!

I have a day job now :D I'm working at the Walmart cashiering (I hope to transfer to the bakery soon).

I'm afraid I probably won't be taking commissions for a while, although I'll still do the occasional trading :) Working wears me out and eats up much of my time. I'll be doing more of my own personal sketches as I get used to the work load, esp given my hour lunch >.>

I hope everyone out there is doing well!

..Happy birthday to me.

28 today
15 years since I found the internet, and everything on it.

I'm making blackberry jelly today, and momma is going to make a nice dinner for me.

I got myself a couple of little blue berry bushes, to live under these windows here.

Daddy took me to lunch on friday. He got me a couple of cute little beanie babies (even though I could tell he wanted me to get something more grown up, heh)

On saturday we rented 'Pirate Radio' which I found to be a good flick, and me and my hubby cuddled up on the couch and watched it.

And now, I am going to play some shadowrun.

I look forward to the future.

Updating: computer, art, and me

Alright Boys and girls, heres an update on the situation:

I have a new computer, Yaaay. The first new computer I had had to be returned, it kept turning itself off and took several tries to reboot right out of the box. Fortunately this one is much better. Unfortunately, this one is Win 7, and I say unfortunate because, luddite that I am, all the computer programs I normally use were made in the ninties.

None of them work on the new machine.

No, not even in compatibility mode.

So, the things you are seeing me post now, are things which I have done in order to experiment with attempting to learn Gimp and Art Rage.

You have probably noticed a drop in quality in the colouring.


That's why.
